Eating with Your Eyes
Hello,
Today I would like to talk about eating with your eyes. Have you heard the expression 'a picture is worth a thousand words'?

Could you do this picture justice in a thousand words? Japanese cuisine often offers us food that we can eat with our eyes, but many other cuisines offer us the same visual treat.
This simple Turkish salad is composed of peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, greens, feta cheese, and a dressing of lemon, vinegar, and olive oil. Delicious and a feast for the eyes.
Don't you wish you could taste this?
You may be puzzled about why this Turkish salad is in the American food category. I'll explain about this in a future entry.
Best,
Tom
